The following ewes have been spending
 time with MacIntosh this fall.
2/3/08
Reserve your ram lambs soon.  We
will be wethering
ALL ram lambs that
are not reserved shortly after they
are born!
Deja came to the farm
last spring and has
been such a joy to have
around!  She is a
beautiful black
badgerface who has the
most friendly
personality.  We
decided to put her in
with MacIntosh this
fall because his
gorgeous moorit fleece
and her pattern could
give us some
interesting
color/patterns.  We are
looking forward to
seeing their lambs this
spring!
Surprise (DCI 20R)is a
full sister to Deja.  We
are a bit uneasy to see if
she can lamb
unassisted after her
caesarean last spring
when her lamb was dead
and she couldn't have it
alone.  The vet assured
me at the time, that she
will probably do fine, so
with fingers crossed, we
will wait for spring to
see if he was right!
Surprise was in with
MacIntosh also.
Clarisse, (DCI 8P)we call her
Clairie, is one of our most
special girls.  When she was
a tiny lamb, she was
injured in a freak accident
and lost most of her lower
jaw.  She hasn't let this slow
her down as she eats
constantly, and had a
beautiful little ewe lamb
last spring.  She's been in
with MacIntosh and should
have a moorit lamb this
spring.  I plan to sell her
lambs thisyear since we kept
last spring's lamb for our
own flock.
Duchess is just beautiful!  She has
grown fast as a lamb, has great genetics
behind her (Lady Bug's and Levi's
daughter) and should be a real milk
producer!  This will be her first time to
lamb, and we look forward to her lambs
arriving sometime in April or May.  A
more recent picture will be coming soon,
but for now, here's a picture of her at 4
months old with her mother.  Duchess is
the white one.
This is an old picture of MacIntosh
taken last spring right after his arrival
at our farm.  I am hoping to get a new
one here soon.
  He is such a wonderful
shade of moorit, and I look forward to
seeing what the addition of his coloring
does for these ewes.  His mother is a
black mouflon, so I am wondering if
this pattern may be passed on to some
of his lambs.  That would be very
exciting for us as we have yet to add a
mouflon to our flock!  He has very nice,
wide-set horns, a great disposition,  and
his fleece is just gorgeous!  We are quite
pleased with him and anxious to meet
his babies in April and May.

Mazi is another black
badgerface ewe.  This will be her
first lamb and we are so excited
for spring to come!  She has
grown a lot since this picture
was taken and has become quite
beautiful.  I am hoping to get a
new picture soon to add to this
page.  She and MacIntosh
should have an interesting lamb!
