We are so anxious to see the lambs that
are out of our new ram Trinity.  He is a
wonderful ram with nice, wide-set horns,
a beautiful, long fleece, and a great
dispostion.  I can hardly wait for his
spring lambs to come!                             2/3/08
Eliza Jane came to us
last spring, soon had an
excellent ewe lamb
(which we kept), and will
probably stay with us
forever.  She has one of
the best fleeces
imaginable, and raises
outstanding lambs.  She
produces lots of milk,
and should pass this on
to her lambs.  If she has
twin ewe lambs, one will
be for sale, and the other
is reserved.
Reserve your ram lambs soon.  We will
be wethering
ALL ram lambs (registered
and unregistered) that are not reserved
shortly after they are born!
Natalie Coal is another
of my all time favorites
(are you surprised?).
She has been rather
slow-to-warm-up to us
after she arrived on our
farm last spring, but
has grown to be quite
sweet.  Her fleece is a
true black, and hangs in
long ringlets.  What a joy
to spin!  This will be her
first time to lamb, and I
think she will pass some
great characteristics on
to her lambs.  Reserve
early because I don't
think her babies will
hang around long!
Although I don't have a picture of
Jasmine yet (please check back
as I will be adding one soon)she is
just beautiful!  She has a very
black fleece that is thick and long.
Her mother is Raptor...one of our
very best mothers...so I expect great
things from Jasmine when
lambing time rolls around.
Lady Bug is the black/gray on the
left.  She is our very first registered
ewe, and has never failed to please
us with her lambs.  In addition to
several ram lambs, she has given
us 2 ewe lambs and we have kept
both of them for our own flock
(Duchess, pictured here at 4
months old) because they are too
good to part with.  We are going to
have to restrain ourselves this year
and offer any lambs she has for
sale.  One ewe lamb is reserved.  If
she has twin ewes, the other is
available.

This is the worst picture I can imagine of
any sheep!  In fact, while I was typing this,
my son walked up behind me and said
"Who
IS that!?".  He knows all of our sheep
and spends lots of time with them, and he
didn't even recognize Trinity from this
picture!  You will just have to take my word
for it that he is beautiful and has changed
a LOT since I took this horrible shot of him.
Looks like it's past time to take my camera
to the barn!
