Even though it is one of my daughters who is mainly interested in this topic, I have promised to help her explore the possibilities of having her own bee hives.  She is quite interested in learning as much as we can find on the subject.   Since I know absolutely nothing about honey and keeping bees (except that they sting, produce honey and people eat it!) I have decided that I will need to locate loads of information.  While I am at it, I plan to add some of my very favorite links and some books to this page to help anyone else who is searching for good sources of information about beekeeping.
