| Any of our UNREGISTERED Icelandic ewes can be exposed to one of our registered Icelandic rams between Nov.1 and Dec.31 (with a 1/3 non- refundable deposit on your sheep, AND a $25. per ewe exposure fee) and picked up later to lamb on your farm. We charge a $200 per live lamb born breeding fee to breed REGISTERED Icelandic ewes to our registered Icelandic rams prior to original pick-up. Icelandic sheep not purchased from our farm can not be bred by our Icelandic rams, and sheep, after leaving our farm, can not return for breeding. This is in compliance with the Volunteer Scrapie program rules. We must ask that you pick up your sheep within 2 months of ordering unless other arrangements have been made in writing. A $40 per month boarding fee will be assessed any ewe/ram not picked up when agreed upon. This will help off-set our labor, hay, parasite control costs, grass eaten... We offer discounts on Icelandic lamb/ewe/ram packages of 4 or more. It is best to only have 5 sheep per acre of any breed in order to prevent parasite overloads, over grazing, and other avoidable problems. We CAN NOT hold sheep without a 1/3 deposit on the balance. We reserve the right to re-sell any sheep, without refund to the purchaser, whose unpaid boarding fee exceeds the price of your package. |
